1. Know their age.
- Age typically defines a child’s attitude and whether or not they will cooperate with a photographer. One-year-olds are easy to work with because they tend to be more agreeable and put their trust into their parents and other adults. Two- and three-year-olds are a little more difficult due to their tendency to be disagreeable, but it is possible for them to be a joy to photograph. Ages four and above are generally good at taking direction and are fun to work with
2. Be friends!
- Older children (2+) are much more independent and want to be treated as such. A photographer’s goal is to be a good mix
